New Dance Cinema 2003 assembles the newest and best of dance cinema (film & video), including the North American premiere of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's Fase and Goshogaoka by American visual artist Sharon Lockhart. Along with films from Peter Greenaway and Thierry De Mey, New Dance Cinema 2003 features a program of dance film by Seattle artists, as well as a storefront video installation by movement/media artist John Dixon and a free panel discussion on dance in the movies.

Tickets available at the door: $8, $6/NWFF member. Festival Passes available at the Grand Illusion and the Little Theater beginning Thursday, February 20. Co-presented by Seattle-based dance theater company 33 Fainting Spells and Northwest Film Forum.
