Lisa McElroy recentlycompleted her MFA in Cinema at San Francisco State University. She has written, produced and directed several short films that have been show at various festivals throughout the US. Her super-8 film, Haunt, screened at the Super Super-8 Festival, the Euro Underground, The Emerald Reels Super-8 Lounge and the Washington Psychotronic Film Festival.
"My first shorts were odes to surrealism and taught me how to politely order people around on a set. My latest film, Fog, is a screwball comedy heavy on dialogue and strange music. My films will always contain some surrealism because there's more than enough of it to go around in real life."
